You will earn points for one billing cycle post the termination date if your payment falls within the month before the offer expiry. If you have set up a direct debit and your payment period falls after this period, you will no longer earn points. The offer is only available to customers who are registering with OVO Energy for the first time.
Applications are subject to credit clearance and the availability of service in your area. This

General FAQs
How are the points awarded?
The points awarded are based on customer payments made. The calculation is done by Virgin Money based on the customer using their or debit card to pay OVO Energy for their electricity.
What happens if I pay more than I've used?
If there has been an overpayment, the points are reversed and a cash refund will need to be made. Poktipal is able to see the reversal and will deduct the points accordingly.
When are my points applied?
When the payment has “cleared” (this can take 3 days to clear due to banking transaction timeframes). Once this has happened it will appear in your Rewards Account.
Will my Virgin Rewards reflect in MyOVO account?
No, not yet. These reward points we be reflected in your Pokitpal reward programme app OR directly via Virgin Money.
I'm an existing customer, can I switch to this offer?
Yes. Sign up and ongoing points can be allocated to an existing customer. Points will not be backdated.
Is the offer capped at a certain number of customers or for a certain period of time?
No, customers can receive this indefinitely, unless otherwise advised by OVO Energy.
What happens if I cancel within the cool-off period?
No points are paid; points are allocated once the first transaction is recorded using your Virgin money debit card.
Do I need to stay for a period of time to receive points?
Yes. The sign up points are allocated once the first transaction is recorded using the Virgin money debit card. You will then only receive the additional points for each $ spent with OVO Energy.

If you're a Virgin Money customer and signed up and pay your OVO Energy electricity bills with your Virgin Money debit card before 25th May 2023, you will receive 18,000 Virgin Reward points at sign up, plus 4 points for every $1 spent.
