These terms (Special Terms) set out the terms and conditions applicable to OVO Energy’s The One Plan and The Basic Plan.
Terms that are not defined in these Special Terms are defined in OVO Energy's Market Retail Contract Terms and Conditions for small customers - available here.
The One Plan and The Basic Plan are available to residential customers in NSW, QLD, SA and VIC, wherever OVO Energy operates.
The One Plan requires that you pay for the electricity you use monthly in advance on a Bill Smoothing arrangement. Your Bill Smoothing arrangement will be set in accordance with your contract with us.
The Basic Plan is billed in arrears. You will be issued a bill monthly for the energy that you have used, payment must be made by the due date on your bill.
These terms (Special Terms) set out the terms and conditions applicable to OVO Energy’s The EV Plan and The Basic EV Plan.
Terms that are not defined in these Special Terms are defined in OVO Energy's Market Retail Contract Terms and Conditions for small customers - available here.
The EV Plan and The Basic EV Plan are available to you if you are a residential customer with an electric vehicle and a communicating smart meter.
You will be required to provide information about your electric vehicle. If you do not provide information or do not have an electric vehicle, OVO may terminate your Market Retail Contract.
If your Market Retail Contract is terminated because you are not eligible for The EV Plan or The Basic EV Plan you will be moved to our Standard Retail Contract.
The Super Off Peak and EV Charging Window periods apply to general usage only and excludes a controlled load.
The EV Plan requires that you pay for the electricity you use monthly in advance on a Bill Smoothing arrangement using direct debit. The Bill Smoothing arrangement will be set in accordance with your contract with us.

The Free 3 Plan and The Basic Free 3 Plan are available to residential customers who have a communicating smart meter only.
If your Market Retail Contract is terminated because you are not eligible for The Free 3 Plan or The Basic Free 3 Plan you will be moved to our Standard Retail Contract.
The Super Off Peak period applies to general usage only and excludes a controlled load.
The Free 3 Plan requires that you pay for the electricity you use monthly in advance on a Bill Smoothing arrangement. Your Bill Smoothing arrangement will be set in accordance with your contract with us.

The Business Plan is available via select third party channels to:
Business customers who are small customers;
Business customers with core operating hours of between 8am - 6pm daily; and,
Business customers on a Small to Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) single rate or SME time of use network tariff (or if located in New South Wales or Queensland a demand network tariff only).
Controlled load tariffs are excluded.
If your Market Retail Contract is terminated because you are not eligible for The Business Plan you will be moved to our Standard Retail Contract.
The Business Plan is billed in arrears. You will be issued a bill monthly for the energy that you have used, payment must be made by the due date on your bill.
If your business premises are located in New South Wales, South Australia or Queensland we will pay $0.03/kWh for any electricity generation exported. If your business premises are located in Victoria we will pay $0.049/kWh for any electricity generation exported, if the feed-in tariff changes, we will give you at least 5 business days notice in writing before the change.

The Battery Plan is available to you if you are a residential customer in Victoria, with a home battery system and a communicating smart meter.
You will be required to provide information about your home battery system. If you do not provide information or do not have a home battery system, OVO may terminate your Market Retail Contract.
If your Market Retail Contract is terminated because you are not eligible for The Battery Plan you will be moved to our Standard Retail Contract.
The Battery Plan currently excludes any customers on controlled load.
The Battery Plan requires that you pay for the electricity you use monthly in advance on a Bill Smoothing arrangement using direct debit. The Bill Smoothing arrangement will be set in accordance with your contract with us.
